My name is Jessica Bertling, and I'm a Web Designer and Front End Developer living on the East Central Florida coast. I specialize in e-commerce design and usability, and am currently a UI/UX Designer employed by MAG Retail & Media.
View PortfolioAs the device market continues to boom, having a responsive design is more important than ever. I'm well versed in the art of responsive design, from mockups to completed projects, and enjoy the challenge of solving design issues for every width.
When creating a successful website, user data is key. From in-person usability testing to software-based mass testing, I enjoy collecting data and applying it to my design and interaction decisions to increase both sales and user satisfaction.
I specialize in front end development, and I haven't met a style challenge yet that I couldn't tackle. I enjoy working with responsive layouts, web typography, and the latest techniques. I enjoy writing fun jquery interactions without relying on plugins.
Having a well thought out & designed website is nice, but it also needs to be found. One of the key areas of SEO, the markup, is often placed in the front end developers hands. I know the proper way, and a few tricks, to get the most benefit when being crawled.
